I wish that I had an option of more than 250 words to nominate Dr. Claypoole. I recently had an experience when my 12 yr old cat suddenly became very ill. I called Elm City Vet Clinic and they accommodated Floyd, my cat, the same day. Dr. Claypoole listened to the symptoms and did not dismiss them related to his age. He truly wanted to determine to cause of his sudden illness. So, I am so fortunate to say that Floyd has recovered from that illness due to the determination and dedication of Dr. Claypoole and his staff. I would elaborate more on Floyd's story if I didn't have to share more information about Dr. Claypoole. When I called the clinic about Floyd, He was not aware that he cared for my cats when I was 10 years old. My mother would take our cats to the vet and let me come along. I would watch and ask lots of questions that Dr. Claypoole would always answer with a smile. He saved many of our cats when I was 10 and now he saved Floyd. He doesn't even know that I was that 10 year old that came with my mom, who now comes as a 45 year old woman, looking with for the best care for my cat...and we are blessed that we have Dr. Claypoole and Elm City Veterimary Clinic. Once again, there are not enough words to express my families appreciation for all they do!
